Work Machines and Power Plants

The internship can be assigned as elective course (within „Wahlpflichtlabor II" for the study path "Energy and Process Engineering") or by interested students. There are carried out experiments with work machines and power plants (for example steam power plants, gas turbines, engines) linked to energy and process engineering.

The course occurres during the period of lectures. In this connection a theoretical part introduces to the examined topics afterwards a practical part takes place at the machinery and equipment of the Department.

In experimental protocols the measure data has to be documented, evaluated and discussed. The protocol has to be drawn up in groups.

The course will only be offered in the summer semester.
