Methods and components of energy installations

This course is prior offered to students of the study path Industrial Engineering (Diplom, Master) and Energy and Process Engineering (Diplom, Master) but other interested students can participate as well.

Machine Science I (summer semester)

Application basics of energy installations, steam power plants, incompressible process media flows, calculation and dimensioning of installations, pumps and reciprocating pumps, heat exchanger and heat exchange networks, gasdynamics, turbines

Machine Science II

Compressors, engines with inner combustion, steam power plants (including coupling out process heat), combination processes, refrigeration plants and refrigerants
